Materials Used In Activities
I always encourage teachers to use what they have or use what’s cheap. However, there are always teachers who would like to locate specific items that I may have used in activities. So I created a list below to help. Just click on any highlighted text to see where I secured various items.

- 1 dice (use different types of dice to differentiate this activity)

- Thematic buckets or containers (you can find these at Dollar Tree, Target or Walmart)
14. Snowy Ten Frame Self-Correcting Cards: How Many More To Make 10?
- Snowy Ten Frame Mat (Included in this set.)
- Items to represent βsnowβ such as adhesive snowflake jewels like these (Dollar Tree had some too), snowflake erasers, plastic snowflakes, white buttons, flat white marbles or white pompoms
- Self-correcting cards printed on cardstock, laminated, folded and secured with a clothespin

15.Snowman Grab, Spin, and Win
- Ping pong balls decorated as snowmen with numbers written on them with a Sharpie

- Counting marshmallows self-correcting cards printed on cardstock, laminated, and secured with a clothespin.

18.Counting Snowflakes With One More and One Less Self-Correcting Cards
- Self-correcting cards printed on cardstock, laminated and secured with a clothespin.
- Playing mat printed on cardstock and laminated for durability. (One for each student.)
- Tongs
- Small snowflakes (or you could use pompoms or flat glass marbles)
- Dry erase marker
19.Wintery Sticker Count
- Sticker recording sheet printed on paper. One for each child. (There are two to choose from.)
- One sheet allows students to trace and total up all the stickers used.
- One sheet allows you to place a specific sticker next to a box. Students use those three types to outline the template and then count up the individual stickers of each type and record the number next to the sticker in the box.
- Small thematic stickers or any small stickers you can find.
20.Wintery Gel Bead Sort
- Gel beads in same colors as cookie cutters
- Thematic cookie cutters (snowflakes, mittens, snowmen) You can get them at Walmart or Dollar Tree sometimes as well.)

- Yarn with taped ends for easier threading
- Winter (blue and white, silver, white) colored straws

- Any wintery themed foam beads (mittens, snowflakes, snowmen) or colored beads
26. Snowy Friends Constructing Letters and Words
- Winter transparent table scatter and purple, clear, turquoise, and/or blue flat marbles.

27.Mitten Containers Count and Record
- Small-dollar store containers. You can find these on Amazon, but if you can get them at the Dollar Tree get them there because they are so much cheaper. I just found a bunch so they should be in stock.
- Paint pens to make a mitten
- Small thematic candy can erasers from Target, flat white marbles, pompoms, pony beads or buttons
- Recording mat printed on cardstock and laminated
28.Snowman Containers Adding Up
- Small-dollar store containers

- Small sensory bin with fun thematic filler
- Capital/Lowercase Letter puzzles printed on one color of cardstock, laminated and cut apart.
