This GROWING BUNDLE will include a deck of 29 cards for each of the 26 letters of the alphabet. These are very complex decks that contain moving pieces that allow students to build the letters in different ways, practice discrimination between letters, and practice letters sounds. (Please note: vowels will only address short letter sounds and the letter x will address the /ks/ sound. Buy purchasing these decks as a bundle, you are saving yourself 25% of the price of buying them individually.
Each page includes verbal instructions and verbal picture cues. This is especially helpful for students with limited vocabulary and English Language Learners. Plus, it makes the decks perfect for building independence in young students.

These activities are very similar to the Hands-On Alphabet Mats you will find in my store but these activities are virtual. I made these Boom Cards specifically to complement them so that I would have a physical option for students to build letters and a virtual option. My plan is to offer both during my literacy stations.
(I will be completing the remaining letters in the following order. I plan on completing 2 a week to have this bundle completed by the middle of August.)
Letter P, Letter C, Letter O, Letter G, Letter I, Letter N, Letter H, Letter F, Letter V, Letter Z, Letter B, Letter E, Letter D, Letter L, Letter R, Letter U, Letter W, Letter X, Letter K, Letter J, Letter Y, Letter Q

With nearly 20 years of experience as a full-time kindergarten teacher, I’m committed to creating a classroom where learning is joyful, engaging, challenging, and fun. Each day, I work to ensure that my students feel successful through instruction that considers their unique interests, learning profiles, and readiness levels. I believe that students should be excited to come to class and enjoy a myriad of hands-on activities that encourage exploration and discovery.
While I continue to teach full-time, I find so much joy in connecting and building friendships with teachers worldwide. It’s why I started this blog back in 2012. My hope has become a reality as I have been able to forge relationships with teachers, sharing ideas and building friendships beyond my little neck of the woods through professional development sessions and this blog.
So by all means, take some time to look around and explore A Differentiated Kindergarten. Gather some new ideas, fun tips, and most importantly, don’t forget to reach out and say, ‘Hi!’
