Description

In this differentiated place value game, there are three mats available for teachers to choose from depending on the readiness of their students. Each player will need their own mat and enough base cubes to make either 30, 50 or 100. Players roll one die if playing to 30 and 2 dice if playing to 50 or 100. Players take turns rolling, counting the number rolled and then adding that number of cubes to their playing mat. When they have 10 cubes on their ‘ones’ section, they trade them in for tens rod and move them to the ‘tens’ column. The first person that gets to 30, or 50 or 100, is the winner
