Description

These May Themed Editable I Spy Sight Word Printable Pages are perfect for distance learning pages or as part of your literacy center activities. With themes like outdoor play, picnics, and bugs, your students will love searching for hidden sight words.

This set of printables has two different editable versions of 12 different Sight Word I Spy pages. This will enable you to extend learning and also allow you to differentiate instruction and meet your students’ different readiness levels. All you have to do is enter your words in each list, and they will automatically be populated into the picture for students to find.

Print off as many copies of each activity as you need for students. Using a
magnifying glass makes this activity very engaging, but it’s not necessary. Your
students will search the picture for hidden sight words. When they find one, they
should read it, circle it, and then write it on one of the lines provided on the response
sheet. Then, depending on which version you provide them, they will either read
the sheet to a friend and have their friend sign it at the bottom, and then they can
color the picture or use one or two of the words in a sentence and then color the
picture.

Hey, I’m Marsha

Welcome to my blog!

With nearly 20 years of experience as a full-time kindergarten teacher, I’m committed to creating a classroom where learning is joyful, engaging, challenging, and fun. Each day, I work to ensure that my students feel successful through instruction that considers their unique interests, learning profiles, and readiness levels. I believe that students should be excited to come to class and enjoy a myriad of hands-on activities that encourage exploration and discovery.

While I continue to teach full-time, I find so much joy in connecting and building friendships with teachers worldwide. It’s why I started this blog back in 2012. My hope has become a reality as I have been able to forge relationships with teachers, sharing ideas and building friendships beyond my little neck of the woods through professional development sessions and this blog.

So by all means, take some time to look around and explore A Differentiated Kindergarten. Gather some new ideas, fun tips, and most importantly, don’t forget to reach out and say, ‘Hi!’
