January Sensory Fun!
How many are too many sensory bins to have going at one time? Hmmm . . . that's really good question. But since I have never met a sensory table or bin I didn't like, I am probably not the best person to ask. I can tell you, however, that I have four going right now in my own classroom. I know . . . So anyway, last week I put out an all points bulletin to my parents in search of beans and pasta. We are NOT an affluent school district by any ... VIEW POST
Differentiated October Sensory Fun in Kindergarten
What do you get when you mix the most beautiful time of the year with a kindergarten classroom? Sensory table fun! I know many of you have told me that you are no longer allowed to have sensory tables in your classroom because they have been deemed . . . 'unacademic.' I swear I cringe every time I hear that. Just the thought of little ones not being able to explore, play and manipulate all the amazing natural wonders of this time of the year by means of sensory work/play, is sad. ... VIEW POST
