We’re starting out Back to School With Guess Who with a HUGE bang today. Welcome my blogging buddy Leanne from Leanne Baur’s Creative Classroom. You are going to be SOOO glad you stopped by today.
Hi there! This is Leanne Baur from over at Leanne Baur’s Creative Classroom. I am so excited to be guest blogging for my good friend, Marsha, from A Differentiated Kindergarten! She told me you are super-fab readers so today, I wanted to bring you some super-fab resources to use in your own classrooms. If you like what you see, leave a comment and maybe I’ll get to come back again! LOL! I promise I’ll bring more goodies!
For Back-to-School, I know the most important thing to you is filling up your files. Today, I am going to help you do that. Everything that I post today is currently a paid item in my teacher store that you will receive for FREE! Only readers of this blog post will get them for FREE!!! How am I going to do that? I will be using Google Docs where only folks with the code can get them for FREE! Smart thinking, huh? 😉
The first thing I am going to give you is my resource, Poems and Songs All Year Long. This resource includes poems and songs for each season, written by me! No one else will have these unless they purchased them from my teacher store. You can use them in centers, as whole group lessons, or hang them around the room as part of your decor. Older primary students can copy them or illustrate them. Just use your imagination! Click the pic to download it!
The next resource I am giving to you is one that a follower of mine requested and it’s called, Ready Words for Kids. This is an EDITABLE word book for your students. It is already programmed with basic sight words for grades Pre-K to 2 but you can ADD to them or CHANGE them if you wish! Simply click on the text boxes and add whatever you like to suit the needs of your students. Now THAT’S differentiated instruction! This would work well in cross-curricular areas as well. Download now by clicking the next pic!
Having fun, yet? I thought you might be! The next resource up for grabs is also EDITABLE and will make you a HIT with parents! It’s my Editable Month-by-Month Newsletters that will allow you to type whatever you like into the whimsical pages! I LOVE these and can’t wait to use them. They are NEW this year. Here they are for you…
To go along with the classroom theme, I am including my EDITABLE Classroom Labels and Tags. They can be used as name tags, cubby labels, classroom signs, book bin labels, group tags, word wall cards, and more! Again, you can program these however you would like! This is a BIG TIMESAVER here! Click below to make it yours!
Finally, I have an item that is already FREE in my TpT store but you’ll have to go there to grab it! Yes, it is a secret so you will just have to go and find out what it is! (Hint: It’s an adorable and unique Back-to-School printable activity that your students will LOVE!!!) Here is the link… Back-to-School FREEBIE TpT While you are there, be sure to pick up my 12 other CLASSROOM FREEBIES! You can even visit my graphics shop to pick up MORE FREEBIES if you’re into adding clip art to your stuff! See for yourself here…
I just want to say, “thank you”, to Marsha for having me guest blog here! Please be sure to share this post with as many people as you can. They will ONLY GET THESE FREE ITEMS HERE at A Differentiated Kindergarten. If you want to visit my blog for FUTURE FREEBIES and creative resources, click below and be sure to FOLLOW!
With nearly 20 years of experience as a full-time kindergarten teacher, I’m committed to creating a classroom where learning is joyful, engaging, challenging, and fun. Each day, I work to ensure that my students feel successful through instruction that considers their unique interests, learning profiles, and readiness levels. I believe that students should be excited to come to class and enjoy a myriad of hands-on activities that encourage exploration and discovery.
While I continue to teach full-time, I find so much joy in connecting and building friendships with teachers worldwide. It’s why I started this blog back in 2012. My hope has become a reality as I have been able to forge relationships with teachers, sharing ideas and building friendships beyond my little neck of the woods through professional development sessions and this blog.
So by all means, take some time to look around and explore A Differentiated Kindergarten. Gather some new ideas, fun tips, and most importantly, don’t forget to reach out and say, ‘Hi!’
