I love my sensory table as a tool for differentiating my instruction. You’ve heard me talk about it here and there before but today I am lucky enough to be guest blogging over at PreK and K Sharing and I’ve put together a post with all things ‘sensory table’ -ish. It was a fun post to put together, and there are a TON of freebies for you to snatch up when you get over there.
Make sure you have them in your collection. And then come back and grab this one too:
So head on over to PreK and K Sharing and check it out. Leave me a note when you get there and let me know what your favorite sensory table activity is. I may need to ‘borrow’ a couple for my own class.
I’m also linking up with FlapJack’s Valentine’s Linky Party. Check out other great freebies by clicking on the button below.
I headed over to check out your ideas! They are all wonderful. I pinned and Suliaed your post.
I loved you ideas and am planning to use them. Thanks for sharing.

hi ~ i just got a sensory table in my classroom SO excited to check out these ideas 🙂
I tried downloading the activity above and it opens but won’t print ~ any tips?
I thought I would hate the mess with my sensory table and was reluctant to use it BUT I got out of my own way and the kids absolutely love it! It isn’t messy as one would think and the kids have learned to be cautious about spilling the sand. It isn’t going away in my class ever, the other teachers are beginning to develop sensory table envy! I love the freebies, thanks for sharing!
I have had a sand table in my kindergarten classroom for the past 6 years and have never done anything with it. I wasn’t sure what to do with it academically. For some reason seeing all the sensory table posts never hit me that it was what i could do with it. So next year when I’m back in kindergarten, I’m going to clean out the table and start using it. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Marcia,
I was wondering if you have a list of the onset and rimes you use for the Easter eggs and a copy of the recording sheet you use. I’d love to do this activity with my kinders. I love your ideas and have used many of your write the room activities this year! You have really helped me differentiate instruction more authentically!
Thanks!

Marsha……….I LOVE your materials and have many for my pre-k class! I was hoping you could make it possible to purchase LOVE BIRD RHYMING GAME and LOVE NOTES separate from the entire set. (much of it is too difficult for my kiddos) Also, any chance of letter recognition I-spy activities? My kiddos LOVE them and variety keeps it fresh for them!
Thanks for your consideration.

Hi Marsha. I was looking at Mrs. Hoffers Kindergarten Blog and she said you had a Common Core Checklist for a data binder. I cant find it. Do you still have it on your blog? Thanks so much! Christie
Thanks Marsha! My kiddos absolutely loved these in the sensory table this week! 🙂 I used them with red/pink colored rice scented with lavender and heart-shaped measuring cups from Target, it was great!
