Description

This unit contains 12 different activities to choose from for Word Work/Literacy Stations. These stations are a continuation of the Back To School Word Work Stations and will continue to have a familiar format. They will allow your students to continue to use familiar routines and procedures of your classroom and stations. They are differentiated and aligned.

The following activities are included:
Station 1:Linking Pumpkin Pals-Students you plastic links for this letter order and recognition activity.
Station 2: Pumpkin Pal Letter Order- Students recognize letters and write the consecutive letters that come after.
Station 3: The Sounds of Falling Leaves-Self-Correcting, Independent beginning sound, ending sound and CVC word work
Station 4: Harvest Syllable Sort
Station 4 ½: Harvest Syllable Write the Room
Station 5: Harvest Hullabaloo Letter (or Letter Sound) Activity
Station 6: Harvest Hero Letter (or Letter Sound) Activity
Station 7: Harvest Letter Memory
Station 8: Harvest See Say Color-See the letter, say it and color the corresponding letter and/or the item with the corresponding beginning letter sound.
Station 9: Sensory Table Fall Harvest Rhyming Fun
Station 10: Letter and Sounds Fall Harvest Yatta!
Station 11: The Fall Harvest differentiated reader
Station 12: Harvest Bingo Dotter Work letters and sight words

This activity is aligned to Common Core Standards:
RF.K.1d Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet.
RF.K.2a Recognize and produce rhyming words.
RF.K.2b Count, pronounce, blend, and segment syllables in spoken words.
RF.K.2c Blend and segment onsets and rimes of single-syllable spoken words.
RF.K.2d Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words.1 (This does not include CVCs ending with /l/, /r/, or /x/.
RF.K.3a Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary sound or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant.
RF.K.3c Read common high-frequency words by sight (e.g., the, of, to, you, she, my, is, are, do, does).
L.K.1a Print many upper- and lowercase letters.
L.K.2c Write a letter or letters for most consonant and short-vowel sounds (phonemes).
